Briddicott is a sheep milking farm, situated in the foothills of the Northern edge of the Exmoor National Park. Andrew Speed, the farm owner of Briddicott farm, has over 21 years experience of milking sheep, and has developed very high standards and knowledge of sheep milking.

Briddicott farm now has a massive 1,500 strong flock!

The Briddicott Freisland cross Poll Dorset Sheep.

Andrew's ewes are Freisland cross Poll Dorset. Freisland ewes give high milk yields and Poll Dorsets produce milk with very high solids and naturally lamb at anytime of the year. These two qualities combined, are what helps make our Slim Ewe Sheep's milk iced desserts so delectably creamy.

David Baker and Andrew Speed started milking sheep at the same time. When David went into the production of ice cream, Andrew combined David’s milking flock with his own and concentrated on the production of Sheep’s milk. in addition to farming his own land, Andrew also farms David’s fields at Styles Farm grazing many of his milk ewes on Styles lush green pastures.

All lambs are reared on their mothers.
